"Building Connections, Empowering Lives: A Community for All Abilities"
At Kinship Center, we create a welcoming space where youth (preteen and teens) and young adults with autism or other special needs can grow, connect, and thrive. Activities and Social Clubs
At our center, we offer engaging autism support programs and social clubs designed specifically for neurodivergent youth. Our diverse programs for neurodivergent youth meet various needs and interests, fostering meaningful connections, personal growth, and a sense of community. We provide social skills programs for neurodivergent youth, ensuring that preteens, teens, and young adults with social deficits find supportive environments, especially in locations near Roseville, CA.
The Kinship Center provides inclusive, community-based programs for neurodivergent youth ages 10–28 who live within about an hour’s drive of Roseville, California. Serving families across the greater Sacramento region and surrounding communities, the Center focuses on social connection, creative expression, and social-emotional development in a supportive group environment. These programs are especially valuable for young people who may not qualify for intensive services but still need meaningful opportunities to build relationships, confidence, and a sense of belonging.
The Kinship Center is designed for neurodivergent youth, including those who may be considered “high-functioning” and often fall outside eligibility for intensive services. Many participants are young people who need social connection, confidence-building, and community—but don’t have access to programs that meet them where they are.
Socialization plays a key role in helping neurodivergent youth build confidence, emotional awareness, and a sense of belonging. Research shows that peer interaction supports communication skills, emotional regulation, and overall well-being. Without consistent opportunities for connection, many youth experience isolation, which can impact mental health and long-term development.
The Kinship Center supports social and emotional development by creating inclusive group environments where youth can interact naturally through shared activities. By focusing on creativity, collaboration, and expression, the Center helps participants build relationships, practice communication, and develop confidence in a way that feels engaging and authentic.
The Kinship Center focuses specifically on the gap between clinical services and everyday community life. While many programs are either highly structured or not designed for neurodivergent youth, the Center offers a middle ground—an inclusive, community-based environment where young people can connect, express themselves, and grow socially without the pressure of traditional systems.
