What if my child doesn’t qualify for services or therapy—but still needs help?

Many families are told their child doesn’t meet the criteria for services—even though they’re struggling in everyday social life.

They may have difficulty making friends, feel left out in group settings, or lack confidence when trying to connect with others.

On paper, they seem to be doing “fine.”

But in reality, they’re often navigating challenges that go unsupported.

At The Kinship Center, we focus on this exact gap.

Our programs are designed for neurodivergent youth who don’t qualify for traditional services, but still need meaningful opportunities to build friendships, confidence, and a sense of belonging.

Based in Roseville, California, we serve families throughout the Sacramento region and surrounding communities, offering a structured, supportive environment where connection happens naturally—through shared experiences, guided interaction, and community.
